It’s HERE!!! My first Fancy Front Door reveal! After a fun and crazy month of planning ALLLLL the details this cute-not-creepy look is all pulled together. To get the look I stuck to a traditional color pallet of orange, black and white. I mixed in lots of patterns to add whimsy and fun ~ think: harlequin, polka dots, and stripes.
I was able to start the transition with the sassiest striped chair covers from the At Home store. Supplies were low so I found some similar ones here on Amazon~ https://amzn.to/33I0Ubj
I’m also a sucker for throw pillows on a budget so I snagged some 12x20 pillow inserts and switch out the covers each season. I opted for some YUMMY orange velvet pillows for this Halloween porch.

Next came the “big 3” a style staple for every season. My double door swags, garland and centerpiece! I’ve bundled the three tutorials in one package and they’re currently available in the tutorial shop! https://www.thefancyfrontdoor.com/listing/859346526/diy-halloween-decor-tutorial-bundle Then I moved on to the leaner! It was such a fun transformation and you can watch how it was made here~ https://www.facebook.com/thefancyfrontdoor/videos/783167172427455/ For the finishing touches I made over those sweet “trick or treat” signs , added the eyeball stakes and those OH. SO. FUN. pumpkin stackers found here~ https://amzn.to/2RFxm8v
So just as I was putting this all together a big ‘ol cold front came through … ok, more accurately ~ this is Texas and it was more like a “cool front” that brought the temps from 96 to 81… but I WILL TAKE IT! If you need me I’ll be on my porch ordering craft supplies, sipping pumpkin spice cold brew and plotting my fall decor! This blog post contains affiliate links.
